I would definitely recommend Thanet Well to anyone looking for a serene retreat. My partner and I have been twice now and will be booking again next year. Last time we stayed in a lodge with a hot tub and this time we opted for the view of Carrock Fell which again was better than we expected. The accommodation was outstanding, and very well equipped which allowed us to eat in as well as out. The staff this year were different to last year when we came (in a good way) and they gave us an amazing welcome, they were very friendly and very helpful. They came around to our lodge once we were settle do see if there was anything else we needed.

A lovely location with stunning views of the Lakeland Fells. The lodge was of a high standard, especially the furnishings, everything looked brand new. This is a secluded location ideal for a relaxing break and we would certainly visit again.

Facilities and Lodge Park is excellent, could not find anything to moan about. It is a lovely location for everyone, be it a couple or a family, something for everyone. Private peaceful and a lovely experience for everyone, the views are beautiful.

Yes would definitely recommend. Beautiful lodge with exceptional views of the mountains. Although the lodges were next to each other there was substantial privacy. Staff were very friendly and helpful, the park was kept exceptionally tidy and well maintained. It was very peaceful and one of the best holidays in the Lake District we have ever had. Thanet Well was central for visiting areas of interest. Will definitely book again. Thank you for a lovely holiday.

We would recommend this site to a number of our friends, who like us do not have young children. The site offers peace and tranquillity alongside a very comfortable level of living. A place to go to wind down, watch the nature and explore the Lake District. We even had our own resident Red Squirrel !!
